This is John Kekis of the Philadelphia Tribune. I had a chance to sit down with Mike Fisher, the captain of your Philadelphia Flyers. I am so glad he found the time to sit down with me today.
Welcome Mike
Thanks John.
So Mr. Fisher how is family life treating you?
Well John, life is busy currently. We are in the full swing of the season and my wife is on tour and trying to write her new album.
That certainly seems busy Mike. Now getting down to business, how do you think your team is doing so far?
Well actually I am pleased with the efforts of the lads and I hope we can try and get on a little roll soon. I think we need a little confidence.
What do you think is an area that needs the most attention?
Well John, the efforts are there but we could stand to improve on our finishing touch mainly.
What are you doing to try and facilitate this?
I am doing my best in showing leadership and support as well as trying to get the puck to those that score, haha. We all have to dig deep and do a little more.
Do you believe the coaching staff and or management are doing their part?
It is not my place to comment on the coaches or management. If you are asking if we need to make changes to personnel my answer will always be NO!
That is what you are going with?
You have my response, John
Anything else you have to add on the story of your team?
I believe in our players, coaches and management. We are a tight knit group and I like it that way. The fans have a great future in what is coming up the pipe.
well this is John Kekis of the Philadelphia Tribune and there you have it from Mr Mike Fisher here at the Wells Fargo Center
