So I have gotten lots of questions about the prospect rerates and I will clarify why when I talked with buck that we decided that it was an idea to go forward with.
It has to do with the allocating of stats when creating the prospects their OVs will not change much if at all (there would be some exceptions either going up or down) forwards would see modest changes if any changes at all for the most part there are a few exceptions.
Dmen will see the greatest change as my philosophy in creating them differs from bucks especially in the sc pa fo and ps ratings they will all be quite a bit lower a defensive defensemen will likely have sc in the 30-40s pa likely in the low 50s fo and ps will be quite low but a df rating on a defensive dman will be in the high 70s and en will be higher as well as well as st this is not set in stone as it will differ from player to player depending what their offensive and defensive upsides are.
Offensive dmen will see sc and pa likely in the 50s and df in the high 60s low 70s depending again on the offensive and defensive upsides.
Again it is your choice you can leave players as they are or can choose to have up to two players redone the way i would create them. No basis will be given to how they have done in the nhl it will be based off of their hockey's future page and junior stats.
