offseason time line

The draft is progressing nicely, thank you to Spez and Junk for keeping an eye on it.

I'd like to see the draft done by Friday, but no rush, it'll be done when it is done

Gar is currently working on our resign tables, to tailor it to the revised ratings for the player.

I do notice that rerates are a little underwhelming to say the least. I will take a peak for future offseasons if there is a way I can make the changes more dramatic.

A little trial and error.

This weekend is the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. I'd like the weekend off. I will find the time to update the teams with their fresh new prospects.

Gar is working on our resign table. If the table is up before the weekend, then we will start resigns next Tuesday. As he truly is doing this for the good of the sim, given he doesn't support a team on here, I am putting zero pressure on him to get it done.

So when he is able to get it posted, we will have a 3 day break for GM's to all get on board and submit their lists. I know it doesn't take that long to plan your resigns, but I do understand that not all guys are on every day. No worries.

Once resigns are complete, and the portal is updated, then we move onto UFA, which is always entertaining.

We will likely be all done within the next couple of weeks, and ready for some preseason action

We have a couple of teams up for grabs, so if you are aware of anyone, please have them contact myself or AuthorityZero, so we an get them up to speed.

I am just waiting on gar to get our resign table updated. I'll try to get ahold of him today. Can't officially get that underway until the table is up.

We will give 4 days, once the table is up, to post resigns, then we will move into UFA, and all players remaining will be considered UFA, no exceptions.

I am putting it to the admin team to caretake for the dormant teams, more on that as I set p interim GM's for each team.

I'll likely give until the end of the week before seeking alternate arrangements for FA signings

Unbeknownst to me, Gar did post resigns. I'm a little behind the 8 ball here.

The thread has been created. GM's are to make a single reply in the thread to indicate the players they intend to resign. They naturally should include Player Name, Term and contract amount. Please indicate the yearly amount, not the cumulative total. IE Brandon Dubinsky, 3 years @ 5.5 million per.

RESIGNS WILL OFFICIALLY CLOSE SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13, 2012 at 11.59 pm EST.

I will take a couple of days to update all players who have been resigned, so tha thte UFA list is accurate. UFA will therefor commence on Tuesday, October 16, at 10.00am EST

Hey guys, I signed up to be new Kings GM! Just wanted to say hellos and stuff

Resignings and UFA will be pushed back a few days as bee has some personal stuff to attend to, bear with us a little longer and we'll get this show rolling

just so theres an updated for everyone, this is bees post from the other league most of us are in

"Sorrty for the absence lately. Some serious shit happening that has occupied my time up pretty nastily. I see that Gar has graciously agreed to sim here for a short while, and I'll take him up on it. If he's able, he knows where to find the files to steer the ship for the next few days.

For BKHL, I will get all the resigns updated to the portal no later than Sunday afternoon. They will likely all be done by Saturday at dinner time here in the East. If this is indeed the case, we will be ready to go to UFA on Tuesday. I'll post on this once the resigns are done.
