Well this has gotten off to a great start. I am super encouraged we were able to secure 19 of a possible 20 slots so quickly. For a league i intended to get rolling in the new year, we are really quick out of the gates. Awesome

Each team has to be hand-built with current day rosters, and I have already started. The 20 teams should be built, and uploaded to the portal by this time next week.

There will be a gap from now till i am done building the teams to being able to see them on the portal. In the interest of having gm's view their rosters and the players available in FA (dispersal).

This goes for trades as well. Feel free to have discussions, but no trades will appear in the official trade thread until rosters are visible on the portal. This is to avoid guys trading blind, perhaps causing ill will if you pay big time for a player that may suffer ratings wise.

A bit of paitence folks, while the teams get created, then we can get this mofo flowing.

With the portal going up Friday or Saturday, i Don't want this dispersal to drag on forever. With this in mind, I've set up a schedule

Round 2 - Friday December 2
Round 3 - Saturday, December 3
Round 4 - Monday, December 5
Round 5 - Tuesday December 6
Round 6 - Wednesday, December 7

Each round commences at 12 noon EST. Each pick has a 30 minute window from the last pickc selected. If you suspect you may not be online during the day tomorrow, PLEASE SUBMIT A LIST to any of the admin who are ONLINE close to your picking time (Before 5 EST, I will be on most of the day.

If you are not submitted a list or made your pick YOU WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY BPA'ED.

If enough guys are online, and we go past the 20th pick of that particular round, and we get to someone who is not online, we will NOT autopick, as they have until the following draft day to pick

I've seen these drag on for a couple of weeks, unecessarily.

06/12/2011 - i will do a current update to the portal this evening with all trades and dispersal picks up to date

Correction to previous note. Dispersal picks updated successfully, while trades did not. I'll fix it tomorrow at lunch.

There appears to be errors within the portal. guys in the simon t software at a given position, are showing up on the portal in a different position. very strange. it should fix with next update

you have the ability to add multiple positions in v2. then im pretty sure gms can move the guys using the client software. not sure of the specifics but its designed so that you dont have to do position changes constantly

Just creations and FA's remaining to be completed. Hope to have more time tomorrow

It appears there is an issue with the portal. Mostly to do with prospects and picks.

I will have ensured by boxing day that all trades and signings are updated in Simon t. Gar. Said he'd look at the portal after Christmas.

Sorry folks, I had some laptop issues after simming GMSIM.

I look to be good now. I will sim it tomorrow.

We have had our last sim of this year.

Happy New Years everyone (Mark, don't get so hammered you can't remember where you live).

Simming will resume on Tuesday, January 1st, where we will conclude the preseason very soon and move right onto the regular season.

Going to be epic, folks.

03/01/2012 - sim is done, but am having issues getting update to the portal. Will have to re-attempt tonight, when I don't have to rely on occassionally-shoddy internet hotspot off my phone.

What happens to teams that arent within the salary cap?? I dont know if there is any. I was just wondering myself

the top player on said team is suspended until the GM fixes their cap situation
