Rule Changes for upcoming off-season and so on

#1. Age no longer matters for AHL. Any age can play AHL. No limits now

#2. RESTRICTED FREE AGENCY

RFA’s will have compensation given to the team that could not afford, or sign the player back. (REMEMBER YOU MUST OWN YOUR OWN PICKS)

Teams submitting offer sheets must have the necessary draft picks outlined above and the picks must be their own (cannot be from other teams)

3. Cap Floor will be $52,000,000 ($16,000,000 less than the CAP) As cap increases so will the floor

4. Amnesty clause each team gets one. Must be used this off-season or next. Team that uses it cannot sign or trade for player back for one full season.

5. Any team that goes over the CAP will have 10 days to get it fixed or the suspended player will be released to FA which the owner of the team cannot bid on.

6.Bee will monitor Goalies games played from now on.

7. Cap will increase $2,000,000 ever 3 seasons. Year 4 is next cap increase

8. OOS (prospects) have to be created within 3 years of draft year. Otherwise they will become Free Agents. Any prospect you own now, you have three years with still.

We might as well call the cap floor the "Kilza Rule", seeing as how I only used 52% of my possible cap, and would be $17 mil away from that floor this season. =P

Aside from that, good rules. But, just for clarification, with RFA, is it just your picks or is it all picks you own? For example, if I offer sheet a RFA for $2 mil, would it be fine since I have NJD's 2nd?

No for RFA you must use your own picks. Just like how the NHL works
